Grant opportunity available

East Carolina University and the state Department of Commerce are collaborating on an innovative Community Development Block Grant program.
The Talent Enhancement Demonstration Grants program, designed to provide technical assistance and financial resources to increase competitiveness and build stronger, more vibrant and more capable communities, is accepting applications through Tuesday.
Commerce will provide grants of up to $75,000 and related technical assistance in partnership with the OEIED. The total amount of funding for this initiative is $600,000. Priority for funding will be given to communities that have been designated Tier 1 and 21st Century Communities.
