Cash stolen from store
Family Dollar employee Gary Heacox of Pikeville reported Tuesday that over $2,000 had been stolen from the South George Street discounter, according to a report. Bank deposit records for the store show a bag of cash was never put in a safety drop box. Investigation continues, police said.
