Police: Man found dead behind McIntyre killed self

Authorities have determined that the man found dead Wednesday morning behind McIntrye Funeral Home committed suicide.
Forrest Myles, 51, of Wayne Avenue apparently suffered from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Goldsboro police Sgt. Chad Calloway said.
Calloway added that the man had no known connection to the funeral home, and that they were not speculating why the incident occured there.
Myles was transported to the morgue at Wayne Memorial Hospital at the order of an on-scene medical examiner.
Investigation into the matter is closed, Calloway said.
