Man charged with manslaughter in death

Police say they filed a manslaughter charge today against a 45-year-old East Walnut Street man who assaulted Gerald Anthony King.
Investigator Dwayne Dean said Nathan Hales Faison assaulted Gerald Anthony King last Thursday, and police found him dead in his home.
After the autopsy results were returned, police learned that an assault had caused King's death.
Goldsboro police arrested King on Friday, charging him with involuntary manslaughter.
