Clothes, jewelry, other items burned

According to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report, Jennifer Deanna Pittman, 22, Nahunta Road, said that someone had burned $20,000 worth of property belonging to her. Burned were clothing, jewelry, shoes, belts, purses, wallets, a jewelry box and other items as well as eyeglasses and contacts.

Counterfeit twenties found

According to a Goldsboro police report, Harold D. Haskins, 56, Rollingwood Drive, Dudley, was contacted by officials at Community Federal Credit Union after he made a cash deposit. Bank officials told Haskins that two of the $20 bills he had deposited were counterfeit. Haskins found more bogus money after checking other $20 bills he had.

Assault, robbery

Clarence Cleveland Boswell, 58, Whispering Lane, Dudley, reported to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office that he had been assaulted and robbed of $300 in cash and a $7 wallet that also contained personal papers.

Video game theft

Sean Eric Devaughn, 32, West Grantham Street, reported to the Goldsboro Police Department the theft of 30 video games valued at $1,500. Also stolen were a video game system valued at $450 and a $25 DVD player. Damages totaled $400 to a rear door at his residence.
