Residences, vehicle shot

Pauline Dobson, Aliya Barrett and Michael Genesse were inside Ms. Dobson's home on Sunday night when an unknown person shot the residence several times, and also shot Ms. Dobson's vehicle, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report. Earlier that day, Jamey Lewis and Tonniqua Baker of Best Avenue reported that their residence also had been shot, according to the report.

Sexual assault reported

A 23-year-old woman from Elm City reported that three men she did not know forced sexual acts upon her at a Bouge Road residence on Friday, police said. The woman reported the assault the next day, according to the report.

Juveniles caught with motorcycles

Three Goldsboro juveniles face felony-level breaking and entering and larceny charges after an alarm call at Fun Products on Royall Avenue, Goldsboro police said. Police found a roll-up door ajar and found three motorcycles nearby that had been taken from the business, according to Cpl. Steve Lusk. The three juveniles, two aged 13 and one aged 14, were in the process of trying to take two more motorcycles, police said. Total value of the property the juveniles tried to steal was $9,600, Lusk said.
