Piety stands guard over her lambs -- recently born triplets -- at the Charles B. Aycock birthplace last week.
On Jan. 3, workers at the Charles B. Aycock birthplace discovered that one of the sheep raised there had given birth to triplets. Discovered during early morning feeding time at the state historic site, the three lambs were still wet.
