Cold Stone Creamery will re-open

Goldsboro residents won't have to be without Cold Stone Creamery ice cream much longer.
Anne Christenson, spokesperson for Kahala Corp.-- the company that owns Cold Stone, said the location will be operated by their regional manager, and that it should be open again by the end of the month.
The Berkeley Commons location closed in December after signs were placed on the doors stating so. At the time of closing, the sign on the door also asked anyone interested in buying the franchise to call the owners.
The Kahala Corp. spokesperson said she didn't have any specifics as to what caused the former owners to sell.
A new owner has not yet been found.
