Wayne County Resident Superior Court Judge Arnold Jones Jr. puts on his robe shortly after being sworn into office Monday. Jones, whose father, the late Arnold Jones Sr., held the post for years, earned an eight-year term by defeating sitting judge Jerry Braswell in November. The other new judge on the local bench is District Court Judge Charlie Gaylor, who will serve a four-year term.
