DUDLEY -- Sheriff's deputies made four arrests Monday after a Sunday shooting at Durham Lake Club House party that injured a woman, police said.

Detective Lt. Carl Lancaster said a 15-year-old juvenile shot Laronda S. Leonard in the leg while riding in a car with three others.

Authorities said the 15-year-old shooter may have been angry that Ms. Leonard did not return a smile and a wave when the vehicle drove up to the clubhouse.

The first emergency call came around midnight, with a report of shots fired within the clubhouse at Durham Lake, Lancaster said.

No one was injured in that attack, and no description of the gunman was provided, the detective said. Then, about a half-hour later, Wayne County emergency communications received another barrage of calls about shots fired at Durham Lake Club House.

A Chevy truck carrying four males drove into the parking area and fired into the building a number of times, authorities said.

"From what I understand, she said she was standing there at the entrance, waiting for a ride to leave," Lancaster said. "She said that the (people) in the truck looked at her, and smiled and waved, and she said she didn't return the wave. Shortly after that, shots rang out, and she was pretty sure that's when they hit her in the leg, and she fell immediately after that."

Authorities did not name the 15-year-old who is accused of hitting Ms. Leonard with gunfire.

Lancaster said it appeared that the two separate reports of shootings at the club house that night were unrelated.

The other three men in the vehicle were charged with a variety of offenses:

*Pastrada Matthew Person, 16, South Audubon Avenue, carrying a concealed weapon, possess marijuana, written promise to appear in court.

*Domiko Darrell Davis, 30, Guilford Street, possess firearm by convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon, $50,000 bond.

*Lando Carrissian Phillips, 28, Banks Avenue, possess firearm by convicted felon, carrying a concealed weapon, $50,000 bond.
