Group racing for Aydan again

Members of last year's "Race for Aydan" are again looking for donations as they prepare to run the 13.1-mile Disney Half Marathon on Jan. 10.
Running this year are five participants, including organizers Christopher and Heidi Haan. Ten others also are running in the Circle of Life 5K (3.1 miles) around Disney's Animal Kingdom on Jan. 9.
Money raised by the teams will go to the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville in honor of Aydan Parrett, who will turn 2-years-old on Jan. 8.
Aydan has been in and out of Pitt County Memorial Hospital since birth, and his parents have stayed regularly at the Ronald McDonald House.
