Twin brothers John, left, and David Brogden of Mount Olive decided the day was right Sunday to try their luck at a local pond. They are the sons of Glenn and Frances Brogden.
With temperatures reaching into the mid-70s Sunday afternoon, the weather was a little more summer than winter. Only days after the Christmas holiday it was hard to tell if it was December or June. And those unseasonably warm temperatures lured many Wayne County residents outdoors before Old Man Winter returns.
