Man reports assault, robbery
John Gray of Indian Springs Road, Mount Olive, reported that three black males blocked the intersection of Stanley Chapel Church and Emmaus Church roads, hit him and robbed him on Monday, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report. The males, who reportedly blocked the intersection with a red Pontiac Grand Am, approached Gray's vehicle with a gun, struck him in the head and stole a laptop, cash and a check, according to the report.
