Entries are still being accepted for the Goldsboro Jaycees Christmas Parade, which will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in downtown Goldsboro.
The theme for the parade is "A Charlie Brown Christmas."
Entries submitted this week until Nov. 29, however, will be subject to a $25 late fee. Entries submitted between Nov. 30 and Dec. 3 will be subject to a $50 late fee. Applications will not be accepted on the day of the parade.
Entry forms and guidelines are available for pick-up at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, 308 N. William St., and at the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corp. office on Walnut Street near the courthouse.
A representative from the Jaycees will be at the Chamber from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to accept applications and answer questions today and Wednesday. Once all applications are received entry numbers will be assigned via e-mail on Thursday, Dec. 4.
For more information, call Austin Scott, parade chairman, at 345-1919. Do not call the Chamber or DGDC with questions, or leave applications with them.
