Golf tournament raises $85,000 for WATCH program

The eighth annual WATCH golf tournament, held last month, netted $85,000 to help sponsor the free clinic that has helped thousands of Wayne County residents over the years.

Five corporate sponsors contributed $5,000 or more, while other individuals and businesses who donated at least $1,00 earned the gold sponsor designation.

The five corporate sponsors were Aramark Management Services, Applied Revenue Analytics, Korschun Foundation Inc., McKesson HBOC Health Systems and Sodexho Healthcare Services.

Gold sponsors were AccuCopy of Goldsboro, AIG VALIC, AmerisourceBergen Services Corporation, BB&T, BB&T Insurance Services, Inc., Butterball of Mount Olive, Deacon Jones Ford Lincoln Mercury, Diamond Healthcare Corporation, Executive Health Resources, First Presbyterian Church Foundation, Franklin Baking Co. LLC, Glenoit LLC/Ex-Cell Home Fashions, Inc., Goldsboro Family YMCA, Hardison & Associates, Hospira, Modular Solutions, Mt. Olive Pickle Company, NC Orthotics & Prosthetics, Penn-Davis Coatings, Inc., Pepsi Cola Bottling Company of Goldsboro Inc., Peterson Associates, PA, Photon Imaging, R.N. The WATCH program provides mobile health care services to Wayne County residents who might otherwise not be able to afford the cost of proventive medicine.
