Copper theft
About $2,500 worth of copper wire and copper pipe were reported stolen from an East Walnut Street property belonging to Dale Davis of Fremont, Goldsboro police reports show. The thief also took an air conditioner worth $3,500, according to a report filed late Tuesday afternoon.
