Thefts
*Someone reported Wednesday that a ladder, mini fridge and a printer/scanner/copier, all valued at $499, were stolen from New Hope United Methodist Church at 200 E. New Hope Road, Goldsboro police said.
*Someone reportedly broke into a residence on Black Creek Road in Fremont and stole jewelry and guns, all valued at $5,439, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
Breaking and entering
*A Wayne County employee reported Wednesday that the west side door window was broken out of the WIC office at 809 Simmons St., Goldsboro police said. Nothing was taken from the offices.
