Local government offices closed for Veterans Day

Wayne County, Goldsboro and Mount Olive government offices will be closed Tuesday in observance of Veterans Day.
In Goldsboro, all sanitation services scheduled for Tuesday will be serviced on Wednesday. In Mount Olive, sanitation services normally handled on Tuesday will be serviced on Monday and Wednesday.
Tuesday is also a holiday for banks, post offices and county schools.
Government offices in Fremont, Pikeville and Walnut Creek will not be closed. Officials in Eureka and Seven Springs could not be reached Monday morning for those town's operating schedules.
Col. Mark Kelly, the new commander of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base's 4th Fighter Wing, will be the grand marshal for the Goldsboro Veterans Day Parade.
The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. on South Center Street.
The route will run from South Center Street, up to the traffic circle and back down the other side of Center Street, where it will then turn right onto Walnut Street and then left onto James Street.
