Developing story: City hall mum on Ward's departure

Fire Chief Alvin Ward is no longer a Goldsboro employee, but city officials declined to comment on the circumstances that led to his departure from the position.
Assistant City Manager Tasha Logan refused to disclose whether or not Ward was fired or resigned, but did say that no resignation letter is on file at City Hall.
