Breakers gas station on Berkeley Boulevard was the victim of an attempted armed robbery Monday morning. Witnesses, both women from the same Carla Ann Drive, Pikeville neighborhood, said they screamed and fought with a black male when he showed a handgun and forced his way into the small attendant's booth at 11:40 a.m. They offered no other description of the suspect. No property was taken and Goldsboro police have no suspects at this time.
