Disabilities committee to hold annual awards luncheon Oct. 16

The Mayor's Committee for People with Disabilities will hold its annual awards luncheon Oct. 16 at noon at the Lane Tree Golf Club.
Nominees for Employer of the Year, Employee of the Year and the Mayor's Trophy for an individual or organization who has made significant contributions in support of people with disabilities, are still being accepted. Nomination forms and tickets for the event are available at the Community Affairs Office at City Hall or at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce. The deadline for submission is Wednesday.

Guest speaker for the event will be Chad Hymas, a world-renowned motivational speaker.
