Juvenile gang member arrested
A 15-year-old was arrested in the parking lot of Mahattan Grocery in the 900 block of South Slocumb Street on Saturday by the Goldsboro Police Department's Selective Enforcement Unit. The juvenile admitted membership in the "Webb Town Gang," a loaded handgun was seized, and the 15-year-old was released to the custody of an adult family member, Goldsboro police said.
Stolen badge
A police badge belonging to Goldsboro officer Jeremy Sutton was stolen from his red Ford Mustang while being worked on at Rohr Tires in the 1800 block of North William Street on Friday afternoon, according to a Goldboro police report.
