Senior Center to hold open house Thursday afternoon

The Wayne County Services on Aging will be hosting an open house at the Senior Center, 100 S. John St., from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
The staff at Family Works' Psychological Center will be offering free depression and memory screenings, and Karen Padgett from the Wayne County Health Department will be offering free Body Mass Index calculations.
An art exhibit also will be on display, and handmade jewelry and other items will be for sale. Seniors also will be demonstrating their newly found Wii skills. Free refreshments will be served.
