Alleged Aycock arsonists indicted

Two men accused of arson at a state landmark -- the birthplace of turn-of-the-twentieth century Gov. Charles B. Aycock -- were among people indicted by the Wayne County Grand Jury this month.
James Sean Suggs, 38, who was already in Craven Correctional Institute is charged with both burning of state or local government property and habitual felony offense.
Also indicted was Durwood Eugene Smith, 17, Wooten Street. Durwood is charged with burning of state or local government property.
Investigators originally thought a third person would be charged in the incident, but the arrest report never materialized.
Others indicted in September by the grand jury include:
*Aseed Labib Ismail, 23, Lakehill Drive, felonious criminal use of counterfeit trademarks, pleaded no contest.
*Kishmar Rayjohn Hall, 17, Freeman Street, larceny from merchant, misdemeanor larceny.
*Nebraska Raheem Best, 18, Decoy Drive, Pikeville, common law robbery.
*Derrick Donnell Young, 49, Goldsboro, habitual felony offense.
*Daniel Ray Overbee, 18, U.S. 13 North, felonious hit and run accident, felonious infliction of serious injury by motor vehicle.
*William Ray Johnson Jr., 53, breaking and entering, larceny after break or enter, possess stolen goods, obtain property by false pretense.
*Icshon Zaquan Jones, 25, attempted first-degree murder, three counts discharging a firearm into occupied property, two counts possession of a controlled drug with intent to sell or deliver, maintaining a dwelling for controlled drugs, possess a stolen firearm, three counts possess a firearm by a convicted felon.
*Geneva Dolores Phillips, 20, Woodside Circle, attempted first-degree murder.
*Mary Dolores McDuffie, 37, Linwood Avenue, possess cocaine.
*Anthony Allen, 32, Alabama Avenue, assault by strangulation, assault on female, communicating threats.
*Jesse Darin Daw, 35, Nahunta Road, Pikeville, sell cocaine, possess with intent to sell or deliver cocaine.
*Jay Allen Harrell, 29, Derek Drive, possess with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine.
*Stephanie Dianne Simmons, 35, Friendly Drive, financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud.
*Sharon Renee Gurley, 27, Friendly Drive, financial card theft, financial card fraud.
*Guillermo Gonzalez, 36, Arrington Bridge Road, second-degree kidnapping, assault by pointing a gun, assault on female.
*Lemeka Angeria Kornegay, 28, East Elm Street, identity theft, financial card theft.
*Christopher Allen Paul Clark, age and address not in system, breaking and entering, larceny after break or enter, possess stolen goods, obtain property by means of false pretense.
*Anita Coples Best, 51, Herbert Street, uttering forged financial instrument, forgery of financial instrument.
*Davey Ray Moss, 52, The Oaks Mobile Home Park, Rocky Mount, breaking and entering, larceny after break or enter, possess stolen goods.
*Robert Douglas Farrar, 65, Rex Street, Rocky Mount, breaking and entering, larceny after break or enter, possess stolen goods.
*Corey Lee Harris, 32, Cottonfield Drive, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
*James Allen Hardison, 19, South Pine Street, felonious larceny, possess stolen goods.
*Nicholas Charles Weaver, 19, U.S. 117 North, Fremont, larceny, possess stolen goods.
*Joe Nathan Spruill, 60, Dollard Town Road, two counts possess stolen goods.
*James Brandon Corey, 22, Roanoke Avenue, financial transaction card fraud, habitual felony offense.
*Donte Johnson, 16, Marcia Drive, two counts assault by strangulation.
*Jesse Leonard Hughes, 76, South Best Street, armed robbery, operating a motor vehicle to elude arrest, assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer.
*Shauib Josh Sharif, 19, Woodshire Road, break or enter a motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor possession of stolen goods, resist police.
*Jerred Dean Tucker, 26, Dennis Drive, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
*John Theodore Simpson, 32, South Virginia Street, felonious larceny, possess stolen goods.
*Aubrey Redding, 45, Cambria Lane, felonious larceny from the person.
*Michael Anthony Lewis, 32, Pony Drive, Pikeville, assault by strangulation.
*William Allen Fritz, 55, Pineview Cemetery Road, Seven Springs, four counts first-degree statutory offense, four counts indecent liberties with a minor.
*Michael Lee Nance, 25, JM Bordeaux Lane, Tabor City, four counts possession and distribution of immediate precursor chemical to methamphetamine.
*David Jerome Hester, 34, U.S. 70 West, habitual felony offense, four counts possession and distribution of immediate precursor chemical to methamphetamine.
*Matthew Allen Grady, 30, Mills Road, Mount Olive, six counts possession and distribution of immediate precursor chemical to methamphetamine.
*Rashad Antwan McDuffie, 25, Carver Drive, trafficking in cocaine by possession, trafficking in cocaine by transportation.
*William Jovan Moye, 27, South Slocumb Street, possess with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, possess marijuana, possess Schedule II controlled substance, habitual felony offense.
*Scott Allen Davis, 36, U.S. 117 North, Pikeville, possess with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, maintain a vehicle for cocaine.
*Jaffari Donte Thomas Ward, 19, manufacture a counterfeit controlled drug, carrying a concealed gun, resist police, drive after consuming alcohol, vehicle equipment violation.
*Javarus Wooten, 27, Hinson Street, forgery of financial instrument, uttering forged financial instrument.
*Forrest K. Meadows, 56, Grantham School Road, 77 counts cruelty to animals.
