Dollar theft
Someone broke into the China Taste at 301 North George Street Thursday at 4 a.m. and stole one gold dollar bill after shattering the front window with a rock to gain entry, police said.
Shooting into home
Someone shot into the home of Letonia Hinton McKinney on South Running Deer Circle, Dudley, Wednesday around noon, the sheriff's office said.
Still missing
Authorities are still looking for a woman reported missing last week by her family. Lavonda Denise Johnson, 20, is described as a black female with light-toned skin, about 5 feet tall and 130 pounds. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 735-2255 or the Goldsboro Police Department.
