Shootings
*Rose Forte of East Elm Street told police a black male she does not know shot at her with a handgun on Saturday evening while she was sitting under her carport. A door window was broken by gunfire, Goldsboro police said.
*Gerald Lee, 14, of Linen Lane was shot in the shoulder on Saturday night at his home by a stranger, causing minor injury, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office reported.
*Mario King, 19, of South Ridge Drive, Dudley, was shot with an unknown caliber weapon early on Saturday morning. The shot came through the woods in an unknown area near Dudley around midnight, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office reported.
*Honorio Rodriguez, 26, of Garland Place, Seven Springs reported his mobile home was shot by a neighbor with some type of firearm, causing about $200 in damage.
