Mugging, vehicle theft
Terrance Darden of West Grantham Street told police that he was robbed at gunpoint in the 800 block of North Virginia Street, Goldsboro police said. Property and Tanisha Leach's 2000 Ford Escape were stolen in the incident, police said. Three black males aged 20-25 were the reported suspects. No further information about the suspects was available in the report.
Missing Persons
Brandon Daquan, 14, and Emanuel Lamar, 16, Gatling of Audobon Avenue were reported missing Friday morning. Brandon is a four-foot tall, 98-pound black male with black hair and brown eyes. Emanuel is a 5'7", 130-pound black male with black hair and brown eyes. The two went to school on Thursday and didn't return home. The police said the family dog is also missing.
Thefts reported
*Patriia Steele of Lisa Lane reported Thursday morning that a gold-colored 1998 Chrysler Town & Country worth about $5,000 was stolen from her residence, Goldsboro police said.
*Traci Myles of Hillcrest Drive reported her vehicle broken into at her Third Street residence on Thursday night and about $300 in goods stolen, Goldsboro police said.
*Helen Townsend of 11th Street told the Wayne County Sheriff's Office that about $700 in property was stolen from her yard on Thursday morning, according to a report.
*Carmen Jackson of Scott Street reported Thursday that James Strickland's 2008 Suzuki GSX worth an estimated $12,000 had been stolen from Ms. Jackson and Strickland's yard, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report.
*Willie Neal of Belfast Avenue reported that someone pried open his back door on Thursday and stole a 19-inch color television worth an estimated $100, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
*Claude Wilson of East Evans Road, Princeton, reported Thursday that a 2002 Green Yamaha Grizzley worth an estimated $4,500 had been stolen from his residence, the Sheriff's Office said.
*James Grantham of Grantham Supply reported Thursday that a 1994 Ford pickup truck worth about $4,000 had been stolen from the business, the Sheriff's Office said.
*Joseph Powell of Powell Farms on Thunder Swamp Road, Mount Olive reported Thursday that farm equipment and gasoline worth about $4,400 had been stolen from his land, the Sheriff's Office said.
*An employee at Clark Auction, 512 N. John St., reported Friday morning that someone cut and stole copper tubing worth $200 and removed a gas regulator worth $100, the police said.
*An employee of Smart Start, 800 N. William St., reported Friday afternoon that someone stole a propane grill worth $600, the police said.
