Dillard Middle School to host August band camp

Dillard Middle School will host a band camp, August 15 and 16, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Both days will include two snacks, lunch, transportation home and a band camp T-shirt. The cost for this enrichment band camp is $25 per student.
The camp will be led by Daryl Richardson, the new band director at Dillard, and Clifton Scott, the former band director at Goldsboro High School.
The goal of the camp is to give area children an outlet to be creative and give them a postive reason to want to come to school.
Students and parents who are interested in participating in Band Camp 2008 may contact Richardson at 580-9360 or stop by Dillard Middle from 9 to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday until August 12.
