Applications currently accepted for More at Four program

The Partnership for Children of Wayne County is currently accepting More at Four applications for this school year. The free state-funded pre-kindergarten initiative designed to prepare eligible at-risk four-year-old children for success in school. Classrooms are located in public school classrooms, Head Start facilities and child care facilities. Slots are still available for the 2008-09 school year.

To enroll, children must be 4 years old on or before August 31. Applications can be picked up at the Partnership for Children office, 800 N. William Street, weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or can be downloaded from the web site at www.pfcw.org.

Bring the following documentation: proof of family income, child's birth certificate, military ID (if applicable) social security cards for child, insurance/Medicaid information, and their child's annual physical and immunization records.
