Offices closed; services delayed

Most municipal, county, state and federal offices will be closed Friday as the nation observes the Fourth of July.
Goldsboro, Wayne County offices -- and all offices operated by the state, including the courthouse, and the federal government, including the Postal Service -- will be closed.
The Goldsboro/Wayne Transportation Authority (GATEWAY) will be operating on a holiday schedule on Friday.
The bus service will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the van service will operate on its normal schedule.
