School break-in
Samuel McClary of Goldsboro Middle School reported that someone caused $150 in damage to a girls' bathroom door. The subject forced out a window to gain entry, but nothing was reported stolen from the Lionel Street facility, police said.
Knife attack
A Courtyard Circle woman and an Louisville, Ky. man reported a knife attack early Tuesday morning, Goldsboro police said. Dennis Lee Stewart, of Louisville, and Carolyn Holmes of Courtyard Circle apartments reported they were attacked by an unknown suspect with a knife in a hotel parking lot in the 800 block of U.S. 70 East Bypass, police said. Police believe the attack was an attempt to kill Ms. Holmes, according to the report.
Man shot
Terell Rasheen Harris was shot by someone unkown to him on Poplar Street around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Goldsboro police reported. Harris was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital, police said.
