MDA lockup to be held June 26

A "lockup" to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be held Thursday, June 26, at the Comfort Suites at 2613 North Park Drive.
Money raised goes to provide local services, clinic visits, wheelchair and leg brace assistance and even summer camps for children with any of the 43 neuromuscular diseases that MDA covers.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. To have someone put behind bars or to volunteer to help, call (877) 998-7433.
"Inmates" will spend time in the lockup until "bail" is posted. While incarcerated, they will be fed by participating local restaurants.
