Air show at Cherry Point Air Station this weekend

HAVELOCK -- The Marine Corps Cherry Point Air Station Air Show will be held June 6-8 at Cherry Point.
Gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 6, with flying starting at twilight. The show will end with a fireworks display at 9 p.m.
On Saturday and Sunday, gates will open at 8 a.m., with flying beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until about 4:30 p.m.
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform the grand finale. Other featured performers will include the AV-8B Harrier demonstration team, the USMC Air-Ground Task Force demonstration team, the Super Shock Wave Rocket Truck, Sailplane Aerobatics and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team.
