Allison Duffield of Friendly Mart on KcKee Oil Company Road, Mount Olive reported that someone used fake identities on checks to obtain about $1,000 from the business, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report.
Copper theft
A Best Sand and Gravel employee reported 200 pounds of copper tubing worth an estimated $800 stolen from the business on Best Sand and Gravel Road.
