Public hearing at Walnut Creek

More than 300 people packed the Walnut Creek Country Club Wednesday night as the extraterritorial jurisdiction public hearing had to be moved from the town hall. Most were residents of neighboring subdivisions and the surrounding area who would be affected by the proposed zoning change. Walnut Creek residents were also in attendance to voice their concerns.
