Goldsboro to host Military Appreciation Day at Thursday's Center Street Jam

Downtown Goldsboro will swing to the sounds of Fatback & the Cadillacs on Thursday evening as the Downtown Jam series sponsored by the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corp. resumes.
The season's first concert two weeks ago was canceled because of rain, but forecasters are calling for clear skies this week. The music begins at 5:30 p.m. and will continue until 8:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available.
The event is billed as Military Appreciation Day and service members and their families are issued a special invitation.
