Boys and Girls Club set to host midnight basketball tournament Saturday night

The battle of the sexes will play itself out during midnight basketball at the Boys & Girls Club.
The Boys & Girls Club of Wayne County's Paley Unit on Royall Avenue is hosting the Midnight Slam Basketball Tournament from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Saturday.
The tournament will feature 5-on-5 action in the Battle of the Sexes Competition.
In addition to the games, there will be plenty of music, food, prizes and performances.
The club staff encourages all high schools to participate. Participants must be in grades 9 through 12.
Admission is free, but the doors close at 11 p.m.
Security will be provided and enforced.
To sign up to play, teens can call the Boys & Girls Club at 735-2358 and ask for Teen Director Mina Williams or sign up with their own school's representative.
