Miss Aycock pageant Saturday

The 43rd annual Miss Charles B. Aycock High School Pageant will be held Saturday, May 29, 2008 at 7 pm at the C.B. Aycock High School gymtorium. Admission is $5 with no advanced tickets tol be sold.
This year's theme is, A Salute to Broadway. Featured entertainment will be provided by Julia Lancaster, Miss Aycock 2007.
There are eight girls will compete.
n Kieona Bynum is a senior who plans to attend East Carolina University and major in English education. During the talent portion she will be playing the flute. She is the daughter of Sabrinna Davis and Jimmie Bynum.
n Abbi Davis is a senior who plans to attend North Carolina State University and obtain a degree in mathematics. She will perform ballet on pointe. She is the daughter of Kim and Freda Davis.
n Jasmine Johnson is the daughter of Charisse and Gregory Johnson. Jasmine plans to attend East Carolina and major in
nursing. She enjoys singing and dancing.
n Staci Johnson is the daughter of Rebecca and Demetrius Lane. She plans to attend Norfolk State University and major in cardiology. For her talent she will be singing.
n Emily Jordan is the daughter of Phillip and Melissa Jordan. She plans to attend Methodist University and major in art education. For her talent she will be singing.
n Emily Perkins is the daughter of Trudi and Ronald Thomas and Kevin Perkins. She plans to attend the Art Institute of Charlotte and major in fashion design She will be singing during the talent portion of the pageant.
n Kristen Prosser is the daughter of Camille Costa and Randy Prosser. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. For her talent she will be singing.
n Lauren Vied is the daughter of Paul and Saralynn Vied. A senior, she plans to attend the University of North Car-olina at Chapel Hill and major in political science and biology. For her talent she will play the piano.
