Brothers charged in armed robbery

Two brothers have been charged by the Goldsboro Police Department Criminal Investigations Division in connection with an armed robbery involving a shotgun.
Charged were Therian Whitehead, 20, of 200-G Beal St. and Aaron Whitehead, 23, whose address was listed as "streets of Goldsboro."
Both were jailed in lieu of a $50,000 secured bond.
The robbery happened April 28 in the parking lot of First Citizens Bank.
The victim told police that he was making a deposit for Ruby Tuesday restaurant when he was approached by a black man wearing a ski mask and carrying a shotgun.
The man with the shotgun demanded the money and then fled the scene.
