Plenty of food choices to be found at tonight's Relay for Life

Whether you're in the mood for some eggrolls or want to sink your teeth into a southern barbecue sandwich, you're sure to find a buffet of goodies at the 2008 Relay for Life.

Top off a meal of chicken, pork or steak with a slice of decadent 10-layer chocolate cake. Or try a piping hot homemade applejack.

Then wash it all down with your favorite soda or some lemonade.

All this and more awaits you at the Relay tonight and Saturday.

Here's what you'll find at this year's event:

*First Pentecostal Holiness Church -- ribeye sandwiches, corn on the cob, barbecue sandwiches, grilled chicken fillet, fried chicken fillet, chicken tenders, French fries with chili and cheese, ribbon fries, hot dogs, corn dogs, funnel cakes, shaved ice, sodas and water.

*Rainbow Crusaders -- hot dogs, grilled turkey legs, funnel cakes, fried pickles, chips, 10-layer chocolate cake slices, homemade cake slices, cookies, brownies, candy apples, lemonade, cold soft drinks and water.

*Coker Memorial Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church -- shrimp on a stick, hot dogs, fresh and smoked sausage on a stick, grilled corn on the cob, chips, desserts, sodas and water.

*GE -- barbecued sandwiches and baked goodies.

*Saulston United Methodist Church -- applejacks, sweet potato chips, deep fried corn on the cob and chicken kabobs.

*Meredith Stancil Memorial Booth -- chips, candy and drinks.

*Meadow Lane Elementary's Rockin' Dragons -- cotton candy.

*Marga-Relay-Villa -- lemonade, cookies and cake slices.

*First Free Will Baptist Church -- hot dogs, hamburgers, Pepsi, coffee, hot chocolate, water, baked goodies, chips and popcorn.

*Walnut Creek Original Free Will Baptist Church -- barbecued turkey dinners with potatoes, string beans, bread, dessert and a beverage and applejacks for dessert.

*Skill Creations Inc. -- homemade eggrolls, fried rice, bags of homemade pork rinds, sodas and bottled water.

*We Are Family, Help My Brothers, Sisters and Me -- chopped turkey, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, sodas, bottled water and strawberry shortcake.

**AVP Cancer Crushers -- barbecue sandwiches, hand-chopped barbecue, chips, sodas and water.

*Rays of Hope -- strawberry shortcake and drinks.

*Friends Fellowship Class -- hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks Friday starting at noon, and sausage and smoked sausage dogs Saturday morning.

*First Baptist Church of Mount Olive -- sausage dogs with onions, baked goodies and drinks Friday, and pancakes, sausage and drinks Saturday morning.

*Second Chance at Life -- barbecue chicken wings, hot dogs, smoked sausage dogs, potato wedges, sodas and water.

*Greenleaf Christian Church -- fish sandwiches and baked goods.

*Westward for a Cure -- tacos and nachos and cheese.

*Pine Forest United Methodist Church -- pork tenderloin sandwiches, homemade ice cream, homemade applejacks, drinks and water.

*The Purtty Team -- bratwurst sausages with chili, sweet peppers and onions, hot dogs, chips, water and drinks.

*A&K Motors -- chips, drinks and cake.

*Zion Marchers -- drinks and cotton candy.

*Youth Flight -- popcorn, hot dogs and drinks.

*TOPS of Wayne County -- tacos in a bag, Brooklyn pizza slices and Pepsi.

*WalMart -- barbecued sandwiches with slaw, chips and drinks.

*Case Farms The Chicken Coop -- chicken bites, hot wings, chicken skewers, breakfast burritos and drinks.

*Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church -- baked goodies, sweet potato fries, sodas and homemade jam.

*Southeastern Medical Oncology Center -- hot dogs, onion rings, orangeades and coke floats.

*United in Christ -- hot dogs, cheese fries, chips and cheese, baked goodies, funnel cakes and drinks.
