Volunteer award nominations being accepted

Nominations are being taken for the 2008 North Carolina Awards for Outstanding Volunteer Service.
The Wayne County Association of Volunteer Administrators will evaluate the nominations and select five individuals, businesses and/or groups to be recognized for their contributions to the community. One will receive the Medallion Award, the highest state award for volunteer service.
Forms are available at the Volunteer Wayne/RSVP office at Wayne Community College. The nomination deadline is noon July 1.
