Local business gives grant for Stoney Creek Park

The Stoney Creek Park Alliance recently received a $2,500 grant from Cooper Bussman for its environmental excellence.
Alliance chairman Peter Roethling said that the grant was a direct result of the successful Walk It Out Goldsboro.
Cooper Bussman has not designated the grant for a specific purpose in the park, but Roethling said they will find out if there is any way the company would like the money used.
