Count added to suspect's charges

A man accused of burying his girlfriend beneath steps behind his Selah Church Road trailer faces one more charge in his indictment, court records show.
David William Best, 24, Selah Church Road, is charged with first-degree murder and authorities have now added concealment of death. His indictment was among others returned this month in the county court system.
Best was accused of slaying Patricia Herring, 42, first reported missing to Mount Olive police by her sister.
Police unearthed the body after someone phoned in a complaint to the Johnston County Sheriff's Office, because Best had a Four Oaks address.
After Wayne County authorities learned Best's trailer was not over the county line, they sent cadaver dogs, who signaled that Ms. Herring had been buried beneath pre-fabricated concrete steps.
The Wayne County Grand Jury also returned these 66 true bills of indictment:
*Matthew Shane Robinson, 38, Nor Am Road, Pikeville, first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnaping, two counts felonious restraint, two counts misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury, second-degree kidnapping.
*Michael Paul Sasser, 32, Leavie Drive, first-degree burglary, two counts second-degree kidnapping, two counts felonious restraint, two counts misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury.
*Travis Ray Pope, 37, Nor Am Road, Pikeville, first-degree burglary, two counts second-degree kidnapping, two counts felonious restraint, two counts misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury.
*Matthew William Hayden, 19, Clover Ridge Drive, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
*Tavaris Tramell Simmons, 17, North Jackson Street, breaking and entering.
*James D'Angelo Raye, 20, Olivia Lane, first-degree burglary, armed robbery, three counts second-degree kidnapping.
*Marcus Montrell McLean, 22, East Elm Street, first-degree burglary, armed robbery, three counts second-degree kidnapping.
*Quinton Jerrod Huggins, 17, two counts breaking and entering, larceny after break or enter, possess stolen goods.
*Joye Anita Garcia Marquez, 31, breaking and entering, larceny after break or enter, possess stolen goods.
*Terry Jamal Watson, 22, Clay Brook Drive, five counts break or enter a motor vehicle, larceny, possess stolen goods, larceny after break or enter.
*Melvin Joseph Plummer, 32, South Taylor Street, second-degree rape.
*Kelvin Deshell Buffalo, 19, Rockafeller Court, first-degree murder, discharging a firearm into occupied property, possess firearm by convicted felon, possess with intent to sell or deliver marijuana.
*Michael Leroy Evans, 43, South Leslie Street, break or enter a motor vehicle.
