Bond set
An arrest report details the secured bond amount for a man allegedly responsible for a string of 12 robberies with a sawed-off shotgun. Police reports show Anthony Jerome Lee, 40, of Dudley and Goldsboro, was jailed under $450,000 bond.
Break-in arrest
A man with active warrants for arrest tried to flee from police after a break-in and theft at a convenience store robbery early Saturday morning. But police caught up with him at the corner of William and Mulberry streets, authorities reported. Dennis Jones, 39, East Holly Street, faces felony level counts of breaking and entering, larceny and stolen goods possession, police said. Jones, who also had five outstanding warrants, was jailed under $21,500 bond, police said. Jones is accused of breaking into Trade-Wilco in the 400 block of East Ash Street, Goldsboro police said.
Man shot
Christopher Boone, 29, of Larchmont Circle was reported shot sometime early Saturday morning, Goldsboro police said. Police responded to Wayne Memorial Hospital, where he was being treated for multiple gunshot wounds to different areas of his body, police said.
iPod assault

Thomas Kaercher, 18, of Albert Drive, reported a black male knocked him down and took an iPod music player on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred at the vocational rehabilitation center at the former Wayne Community College Campus.
Suspicious fire
Goldsboro police reported a suspicious fire at a single-wide trailer at 3201 Central Heights Road, No. 305 on Sunday night. A trailer valued at $2,000 was burned along with $2,000 in belongings. Police suspect the fire was set with unknown flammable weapons or tools, according to the report.
Home reported shot
Wille Dixon of Beale Street reported someone shot out his front window Sunday night, causing $100 in damages, police said.
Woman stabbed
Nicole Joyner, 38, of Cottonfield Drive, was reportedly stabbed with a knife at her home Friday night, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
