Southern Wayne High School students, from left, Amanda Barfield, Trey Massengill and Ofelia Martin prepare artwork Thursday for display at the North Carolina Pickle Festival on Saturday. The art show will be held in the former Belk building. The students are in the class of teacher Andy Sullivan. The 22nd annual festival starts today with carnival rides downtown from 5-9 p.m. and a dance featuring the Band of Oz at the Mount Olive Airport, starting at 8 p.m.
