Electronic recycling Saturday at Sam's Club

People with electronic items that are broken or outdated can safely dispose of them Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Sam's Club parking lot, where a state-of-the-art electronic processor will be present to accept discarded computers, cell phones and other devices.

Among the items that will be accepted are computers and peripherals, monitors, communication devices, desktop CPUs, cell phones, LCD display laptops, corded phones, cordless phones, notebook computers, CD, CDRW drives, answering machines, hard drives, pagers, hard drives, pagers, zip drives, scanners, DVD drives, pocket PCs, floppy drives, data cartridges, printers, PC and digital camers, keyboard, servers, computer mouses, routers, wooden stereo speakers, hubs, remoters, PDAs, modems, circuit boards, cables, fax machines, stereos, adding machines, record players, typewriters, camcorders, projectors and VCRs.
The company accepting the items is an national leader in electronic recycling, holds an ISO 14001 environmental certification, is HIPAA compliant and meets DoD 52220.22-M standards and was featured in the January issue of National Geographic magazine.
