Richard Lewis, left, Ryan Lewis and George Wood batter up fish this morning for the Shrine Club Fish Fry being held at Herman Park in Goldsboro and Robert's Machine Shop on N.C. 55 in Mount Olive. The fundraiser brings in thousands of dollars to support the Shriners' charities, mainly their children's hospitals. Plates are $6 apiece. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and dinner from 4 until 7 p.m. Meals at Herman Park can be eaten in or picked up. Those in Mount Olive are pick-up only. People entering Herman Park to pick up plates should enter from the Jackson Street entrance.
