Tractor stolen

Goldsboro police and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office named last month's theft of a John Deere tractor from Malpass Builders its "crime of the week." The tractor is a 2004 John Deere 5105 with a land leveler and back end loader, according to a release. The tractor, stolen from Gator Drive, includes a John Deere-made front end loader with a black four-in-one bucket on the front, the release states. People with information about the tractor are asked to call Lt. Sean Harris of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office at 731-1483 or Crime Stoppers at 735-2255.

Vandalism

Goldsboro police received four reports of spray paint vandalism on Tuesday, causing an estimated $800 in damages, according to reports. Victims were on Valley Road, Parkway Drive, and two reports on Sunburst Drive, reports show.

Home shot into

William Jackson Whitefiled of Zion Church Road, Mount Olive reported Tuesday that someone shot into his home, causing minimal damages, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.

Thefts reported

*Linda Bass of South Marion Drive reported a blue Ford pickup truck worth $2,500 stolen from an abandoned residence on Dollardown Road, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.

*Carlos Muniz Medina reported a brown and black pit bull terrier worth $150 stolen from his Indian Springs Road residence, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said.
