Marijuana bust
Goldsboro police responding to a report of heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic at Irish Inn Motel arrested a Humphrey Street man on marijuana charges, authorities said. Police stopped Damien Coley, 26, and smelled marijuana, leading to a search. Police found about one ounce of marijuana, $3,276 in cash, electronic scales, plastic bags and a 9mm handgun, police said. Coley was jailed under $25,000 bond for possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for marijuana, resisting officers, carrying a concealed weapon and misuse of emergency communications, according to an arrest report.
Armed robbery
Terriel Troublefield of Young Drive, Mount Olive told Goldsboro police that someone pulled a gun on him outside of Teasers in the 2600 block of U.S. 117 South, according to a report. Troublefield reported that a gold chain worth $700 was stolen from him before a fight broke out, police reported.
