Staff Sgt. Daniel Spencer, right, receives the Bronze Star from Lt. Col Byron Anderson, commander of the 4th Operations Support Squadron, during a ceremony at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Spencer also earned a Purple Heart during his 365-day tour in the desert.
